Reece finishes strong for a 4 shot win over Mike Jeffries. The rough was very high and some of the greens very fast.
November 4, 2017 (Spooky Brook)
Mark Schuler shoots a 67 (we ONLY talk Net) to win by two strokes over Fitz and Mansour. Bruce Rapp and his mutant friend Quatto are in the Top Ten again. Imagine how much money he would've won if he didn't cancel all his Bets! After the 5th hole, Andrew Keller decides to only hit 6 Iron off the Tee and has his best DGA finish. Dan Price was gushing on Andrew so much that Bob and I were ready to call the Predator Hotline. A slurring Larry Thiry shows up 30 minutes late for his Tee Time and joins the 3rd Group on the 3rd Tee Box. Still shoots well! Minutello refuses talk to anyone in his group until he gets his 1st Par, it was a long 15 Holes! The Net card for the 1st Group SUCKED, it took a couple volunteers 10 minutes to complete that groups card after the round. Suggest everyone take a look at the Sample Net Card that Doug put on the Website. Spooky Brook was in great shape!

George Nolan's new neighbor, Dave Perry, teed it up with George, George Nolan and Dave's son, James. A bit overcast in the AM, cleared up in the early afternoon with temps in the 70s. James can send the ball well into the atmosphere, when he hits it straight it flies by his old man's best drive by many a yard.

Five brave souls ventured out to Quailbrook on Saturday. The weather was a balmy 25 degrees to start. Dan Price wins by three. Dave Perry won two new pots this week . He had 2 "Go F--- yourself's" and 1 talking during a backswing. Congratulations Dan and Dave. Also, we have Freddy's reserved for the Winter meeting on Jan 20th if we need it.
November 16, 2017 (Copper Hill)
We started out sunny then it got progressively windier then it rained sideways with 30 MPH winds and then the sun came out. Mike Jeffries starts slow and then gets rolling to win by 2 shots over Reese and Petro. Reese had 2 birdies and a gross 10 on par 3s on very fast greens and Petro had 4 greenies. Ron and Min set some kind of record for the fastest 4 putts in DGA history on different holes.
November 18, 2017 (Spooky Brook)
After an 1 hr 20 minute frost delay 6 somewhat hardy souls managed to play in about 4 hours. Jim Petronchak wins by 2 over someone else. Bruce jumps out to a fast start - 6 under net after 4 holes, then holds on for a solid 32 on the front. Fitz and his gigantic handicap makes putts from everywhere, including a 20 footer for a sandy on 16 to finish in the black.

Mike Jeffries nips Reese by one shot on a very windy day that took more than 5 hours to play.

Dennis Grote has a hot front to win by 1 over Ed Korleski, a balky putter on the back kept him from a sweep.
November 25, 2017 (Green Knoll)
Green Knoll played a bit more difficult than yesterday at Spooky, except for Mr. Babetski who wins by 6 over Bruce Rapp. The greens were still showing the effects of the aeration and some were frozen early on. Bob and his finely tuned winter game gets all or some of every pot for big $ win in a small field. First person accounts say it was something to watch. Well done Bob under tough conditions, and thanks for the beers.
November 30, 2017 (Preakness Valley)
Reese rides a hot back nine to a 2 shot win over Mike. Ron Emma hit a drive that was headed toward the bush that marks 150 yards from the green - we thought it might have hit the bush - it actually buried in it and he had to take an unplayable. The course was in great shape for a county track. For most of us it was the first time playing it.
