A very interesting World Series Day. Nothing was predicatable. Bob Babetski won the day with a Net 66 but already in World Series so the crown goes to our second place winner Jim Petrochak with a Net 69. Our big money winner for the day wasn't Bob but our 8th place finisher David Ellis shot a Net 32 on the front which featured birdies on 5, 7, 9 and 10. Hole 5 through 11 he was 2 under, gross. Unfortunately, he did a little crash and burn and ended up with a Net 42 on the back, 8th place.
Bob Nowark had a strong front, also Net 32, also cooled off on the back and finished with a Net 71. Larry Thiry mastered the par 3's, winning the Net Par 3 with a 6 and tying Gross Par 3's with Greg Risoldi with a 13.
In Match play, Reese Evans defeated Charlie Connors 3 & 2 and Min Minutello defeated Rick Newport (score wasn't on the card).
The BBQ after the round was nice as always although the rain tried to ruin the day. But we prevailed.
