Spooky Brook (July 6, 2019)

The Legend, Min Minutello shoots a 66 for a 3 stroke victory on a warm breezy day at Spooky Brook.  In a very tight Match Play, Korleski defeated Connors 2&1.  Evans & Fitzgerald shoot a PQR of 60, which should put them as the #1 Seed with the new format.  Ellis and Yusko shoot a PQR of 68.  Dave "Super Hole" Perry shoots a 30 - 43 Johnnie and despite finishing below the Beer Line wins $36.30.

Quail Brook - World Series Qualifier #4 (July 13, 2019)

It was quite the busy day at Quail Brook.  The main event was World Series Qualifier #4 but it was also the final day of qualifiers for Partners and there was even a last minute match (NOT Billy Bylina style).  There was a three way tie for first place at Net 64.  Once again Andrew Keller comes in first on a WS Qualifying day along with Commish Frank Thiry and Jim Petronchak.  Andrew has already qualified at Spooky so this was just a win but Frank and Jim now join the other qualifiers.  Andrew tied the back with Net 31 but had 15 Net Birdies and 5 Net Eagles. Jim tied the back, tied Coco with 3 Birdies and tied Coco again with 12 on GP3's.  Frankie shot a sizzling Net 29 on the front and tied with 5 others with 1 Sandy.  Congratulations to Frank and Jim for qualifying for World Series.  More to come from the commissioner on that.

In the final day of qualifiers for Partners the Bobbies once again flexed their partner muscle and shot a Net 58 to finish first over all.  Price and Rutigliano had a rocky start that they couldn't overcome and finished with a Net 65 and did not qualify for the tournament.  Congrats to the Bobbies and all the other qualifiers.  In a last minute decision (there was no challenge at the course) Jeffries and Minutello played there match.  Mike won it 4 & 3.  Congrats Mike.

Notable - for those who are curious, the record for Net Birdies is 20 held by John Rutigliano and the record for Net Eagles is 7 held by the Johnnies, Perry and Rutigliano.  The record for low net at Quail Brook on the front is 24 held by Larry Thiry.

Warrenbrook (July 20, 2019)

Nine DGA'ers braved the heat and humidity at Warrenbrook which was in much better shape than earlier this year.  Ed Korleski started off hot on the front nine and held on to beat Dave Perry by 3 strokes.  In Match Play, Larry Thiry defeated Cavallo 6&5.  I'm sure Frankie is wondering where THIS Larry was in their last PQR round.

Neshanic Valley R/L (July 27, 2019)

A nice summer day at Neshanic Valley.  Mansour Rismanchi  started off with with a low number on the front with Net 31 and finished off with a net 68 to secure a 4 shot victory over the three second place finishers.  He also won Net Par 3's with 9.  Ed Korleski had a Super Johnnie with a net 46 front and a net 31 back.  Good come back Ed.

Other noteables - Jim Rinaldi has 3 Greenies and a lone Sandie and Jim Petronchak had 2 birdies and plenty of Net Eagles.

In Match play, Dennis Grote defeated Bruce Rapp on 18, 1 Up and will face CoCo Loco next.  John Rutigliano defeated Jim Petronchak 4 & 3 and will face Larry Thiry next.
